Glycols

Mono ethylene Glycol (MEG)

Mono Ethylene Glycol(MEG) is a chemical product.  Exactly Mono ethylene glycol (MEG) is an organic compound with the formula C2H6O2. It is a slightly viscous liquid with a clear, colourless appearance and a sweet taste that emits virtually no odour. It is mainly used as a raw material for the production of polyester fibres, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, and antifreeze agents .

Applications:

Packaging ,  Automotive(antifreeze), Chemical , Aviation(anti-icing)

Di ethylene Glycol (DEG)

Di Ethylene Glycol(DEG)is a chemical product obtained from the reaction of ethylene oxide and mono ethylene glycol (MEG). It is a clear, transparent and odorless liquid that can be mixed with water in any proportion.

Applications:

Textile and leather, Paints and Resins, Solvents, Printing inks, Plastics and rubber

Tri ethylene Glycol (TEG)

Tri Ethylene glycol (TEG) is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with the molecular formula HOCH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OH. It is a dihydroxy alcohol that belongs to a homologous series of ethylene glycols, also it has a high boiling point of 285 °C and a low freezing point of -7 °C, and it is completely miscible with water and many organic solvents.

Applications:

Gas dehydration, Deicers, and as a plasticizer
